While studying for his Degree in Computer Science at York University, he also worked in the flooring industry part-time in various roles. After graduating, he continued his part-time position while also working as a Corporate Server Engineer. With his extended family involved in the global flooring business, Victor saw a potential future for himself in the business. With bold creativity, a strong interest in cutting-edge innovation, and a keen business sense, he was drawn to the variety of opportunities in style, texture, material, and manufacturing processes that he could tap into.
In 2006, Victor decided to embrace his passion for the flooring industry and took the first step by launching Macro-Universe Enterprises Ltd as a floorcovering distributor. In 2016, he expanded his brand, launching Fuzion Flooring Inc. Fuzion Flooring encompasses design innovation, quality products, and reliable distribution, further solidifying Victor’s commitment to bringing artistic originality to homes across North America. Fuzion Flooring’s distribution expanded into an industry leading company that continues to support future growth. Victor built both enterprises from the ground up, taking pride in providing the framework for others to join the company and excel.

She takes pride in retaining superior productivity from manufacturing to logistics, best-in-class warehouses, and customer care. A science graduate from the University of Toronto with a Major in Psychology, Monique understands the importance of keeping her team engaged in a positive, continuous learning environment. Monique is continuously expanding her own skill set, attaining additional certifications in WMS, As400, Shipping and Logistics, Health and Training, and Air Shipping.
As an Operations leader, Monique has previous experience managing several 3rd Party Logistics providers, online retailers, and distribution companies, such as Amazon, NCH, and Schenker. Monique spent 14 years as the National Distribution Manager for Rexel Canada Electrical Inc., overseeing operations for 23 distribution centers across Canada, encompassing 1,200,000 sq ft of warehouse space. Through her impressive professional background, Monique has obtained the skillset and intuition only experience can provide. Monique’s kindness, enthusiasm, and natural vigor are contagious and significantly motivate her team to meet targets and raise performance levels.

Kim Downey believes she was destined for the floorcovering industry with an extensive background spanning over 15 years in product management, marketing, and operations. Kim graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Environmental Studies, Urban and Regional Planning. In 2001, Kim joined one of the largest floorcovering distributors in Canada. While there, she worked as a Product and Marketing Manager, demonstrating her diverse leadership skills and effectively leading cross-functional teams.
In 2018, Kim joined Fuzion Flooring Inc. as Vice President for Supply Chain and Product Management. A valued member of the team, Kim is an industry leader in analytics and supply chain management. Kim develops and manages an impressive product portfolio using previous experience earned during her years in the flooring industry, and her continuous pursuit of knowledge in her field.
Kim takes pride in Fuzion Flooring’s stance on never sacrificing quality for availability. With a strong belief in having a direct line of sight to the customer, Kim appreciates that each decision her team makes impacts the client. That is why her vital role is truly a team effort, with key team members all emulating the same drive and passion for meeting targets and delivering excellence.
Since joining Fuzion in 2014, Chris has played an integral role in the development in many facets of the business at Fuzion Flooring Inc. Since graduating from Lakehead University with an HBSc in Forest Management & Wood Science (‘84’), his career participation in the industry has included roles in every channel of the business, from manufacturing to distribution to retail. It’s not uncommon for many throughout the industry to request Chris’s expertise, given his 37 years of experience working in the industry and a keen understanding of the floorcovering world.
When joining our ranks at Fuzion Flooring as the Director of Sales for Eastern Canada, it didn’t take Chris long to recognize and capitalize on Fuzion’s vast potential. Chris hit the ground running, working in numerous sales, marketing, operations, and management roles in his time at the company. Chris’s knowledge and experience in the industry is matched by his capacity to foster authentic relationships with clients, peers, and colleagues. His affable demeanor and engaging manner is reflected in his experience as a sales leader, team builder, and coach.
